The Panama project involves the acquisition of an agricultural property within 2 hours’ drive of Panama City, Panama, for the construction of a modern high-tech intensive strawberry production greenhouse, cold storage and packing facilities to service the capital city, where 60% of the country’s population resides. The project will be the first commercial greenhouse for strawberries within less than 270 mi/435 km of the capital city. Making it a revolutionary project for retailers, restaurants, cafes and hotels.
Our Controlled Environment Berry Strategy will allocate capital to invest in advanced technology growing facilities in markets that are undersupplied locally. The facilities deliver year-round fresh berries, in integrated distribution relationships with local retailers. The strategy builds on Ag IncoTech’s proprietary relationships across the production and distribution value chain that has been created over the past cumulative, 50 years of experience in the industry.
